My journey into acupuncture began in a rather unexpected way. After earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, I was living my passion. Dance has always been my way of connecting with my body, expressing myself, and staying healthy. But when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, my life took a turn I hadn’t anticipated.
Searching for ways to manage my health, I stumbled upon acupuncture. My first treatment was nothing short of eye-opening. I felt something shift, not just in my body but in my whole perspective on health and healing. That experience lit a spark in me—I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others find the same relief and balance that I had discovered.
This led me to pursue a Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Herbs at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where I graduated in 2020. By November of that year, I became a licensed acupuncturist.
